MARTY HERRON   Marty Herron info@kids4truth.com Marty is a member of: Advisory Board On July 30, 2000, Dr. Marty Herron arrived with his family to fulfill his new duties as pastor of Harvest Baptist Church. For the previous eighteen years he had served at Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin, as Camp Director and eventually as vice-president. In preparation for full-time ministry, he first attended Western Baptist Bible College. Then he traveled with the Life Action Revival Ministry. Afterwards, he completed a B.A. in church ministries with a minor in speech at Bob Jones University. He first came to Guam in September 1999 as a Spirit Week speaker to replace his colleague Dr. Sam Horn. During that week he and his wife got a burden for the people of Guam and Micronesia. He also saw the value of being involved in a pastorate. In January after he returned to Harvest Baptist Church to candidate, the church voted to call him as senior pastor. His desire as he shepherds the congregation is to help people develop a heart for God. His wife, Tami, had also been involved in Life Action Revival Ministries. During their years at Northland, she taught several Bible and Christian service classes as well as reared their four children, Megan, Misty, Micah and Miles.
