God Created All Invisible Things, Too
Adventure 5: God's Creation
Did God create all things that exist, both visible and invisible?
Yes. God created all things that exist, both visible and invisible. Colossians 1:16 – For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
This Truth Makes
God made all the things in heaven. The Bible also says that God created all invisible things, as well. The Bible teaches us that the invisible things are eternal, and that the visible things are temporal (they do not last). 2 Corinthians 4:18 – While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
There is no basis for worshipping nature or for glorifying human beings, because they are seen, and the things that are seen do not last. We should not trust our eyes. The Bible says that we walk by faith (being certain of things that are not seen) – not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Because God made the invisible things, they are all subject to (set underneath) God’s authority. Even the Devil, though he is invisible, is subject to God’s power– because the Devil is a created being. God has complete and supreme power and authority over all things – visible and invisible.
1 Peter 3:22 – [Jesus] Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
