Jesus Will Reward Believers for Their Good Works
Adventure 12: God's Plan for the Future
Mission: 5

Question Answer
On the day of resurrection and judgment, how will Christ judge believers, those sinners who trusted Him for salvation?

Because believers are saved sinners, Christ will not judge their souls, but He will judge their works to see whether they brought glory to His name. 2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

The Difference This Truth Makes
Believers will stand before the “Judgment Seat of Christ.” This judgment will not be anything at all like Christ’s judgment against unbelievers. At the Judgment Seat of Christ, Christ will review the activities of believers’ lives and give rewards. (See 1 Corinthians 3:13-15).

When we stand before Christ, we stand by faith in Him, having His righteousness, and having been accepted by God.
