The Faith of True Believers Will Last
Adventure 12: God's Plan for the Future
Mission: 7

Question Answer
Will true believers really be able to persevere in their faith until the end of time?

Yes. True believers really will be able to persevere in their faith until the end of time. Their faith must last because it comes from God and not from them. John 10:28-29 – "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand."

The Difference This Truth Makes
If you have been born again by grace through faith, then God justified you (declared you righteous because of Christ’s righteousness). To be justified is to have Christ’s righteousness put on your account. If you are trusting in Christ’s righteousness, then God considers you as having Christ’s perfect record: To God, it is just as if you had never sinned. Some days you may not act justified. But salvation is God’s work. He will not leave you. He never turns His back on a good work that He has begun.
