God’s Children Will Praise Him Forever
Adventure 12: God's Plan for the Future
Mission: 9

Question Answer
What is God's ultimate plan for the rest of eternity?

God's ultimate plan is to have all His people together, glorifying and enjoying Him with their whole hearts for the rest of eternity. Ephesians 3:20-21 – Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

The Difference This Truth Makes
Believers will live in the special presence of God – eternally! Since God is everywhere at the same time, we cannot say that heaven is the only place God lives. But heaven is the place where the Trinity dwells more specially than anywhere else. Jesus Himself will be there – physically, bodily, and visibly. Jesus is the best part about heaven!

We will see Christ. We will bow down before Him and worship Him. We will praise Him and serve Him forever and ever. We will not need faith anymore, because we will be there, and He will be there. We will not need to repent of anything anymore, because Jesus glorifies our hearts and bodies and makes them perfect like His own.

There will be such tremendous joy in heaven, it is more than we could imagine or express right now. Take, for example, that which makes you happiest in this life now – which should be a right relationship with God, but let’s pretend for a second that it is the joy you get from eating chocolate. You could multiply that joy by the number of all the grains of sand in the world, and you would not even come close to how happy and joyful you will be in heaven.

God will be glorified greatly in and through the joy of all His children, forever. 2 Thessalonians 1:10 – When He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.
