God Alone Created the World out of Nothing
Construction Zone 5: God's Creation
Who created you, the world, and everything in the world?
God alone created me, the world, and everything in the world. Isaiah 45:18a – For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it.
This Truth Makes
God has the power to will things to be, and in that moment they happen just like He wants them to. Can you begin to imagine that kind of awesome power?
God does not need our help to do His will. In fact, Jesus said that if God wished stones to turn into people, God could make that happen!
Luke 3:8b – “Do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.”
God did not use any other materials or tools in order to create. When God created, He used nothing. God is the only One Who can turn nothing into something.
But for one part of God’s Creation, He did use something that He had already made in order to create something else. Can you think of what it was? (Hint: The material God used was dust.)
What’s Wrong Here? “Within the period of human history we do not know of a single instance of the transformation of one species into another. . .” – T.H. Morgan, evolutionist (Genesis 1:24-25)
