What is "sin"?
Sin is anything we do that goes against God or His Law. 1 John 3:4 – Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
This Truth Makes
The most simple and correct definition for the Bible word sin is “missing the mark.” But what mark (or target) have we missed? Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
What we have missed is the glory of God, the purpose for which He created us. The Bible teaches that we were created in God’s image to glorify Him.
